Chef Dave’s, a bistro-style restaurant, is currently searching for Servers to join our expanding team to work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment to provide guests with a fresh dining experience that celebrates living well by delivering exceptional guest services in the bar area, including the below. - Provide guests with accurate and thorough information regarding menu items, pricing, and allergen information
- Prepare restaurant tables
- Attend to customers upon entrance Interact with guests while obtaining their orders and enter POS for preparation.
- Take and serve orders; ability to lift, balance and move large food trays, weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
- Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
- Issue bills and accept payment
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills and guest-oriented approach
- The ability to work well with others.
- The ability to accept feedback and work well under pressure.
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area
- Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask are necessary
Requirements
- 1+ years’ experience as a server in a high-volume, upscale food and beverage and/or club environment
- Understanding of restaurant etiquette
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
