Allegra Goodman in Conversation with Tova Mirvis at Hummingbird Books

In partnership with Nu Reads, a new initiative from The Jewish Book Council, join Hummingbird Books for the launch of This Is Not About Us, the highly anticipated new novel from Allegra Goodman. Goodman will be joined in conversation by author Tova Mirvis for an intimate discussion on storytelling, craft, and the ways Jewish identity, tradition, faith, and cultural inheritance shape their work.

The evening will include an audience Q&A, dessert reception, and book signing.

Proceeds from the event support The Jewish Book Council and Nu Reads, a bi-monthly book subscription program connecting readers with essential contemporary Jewish fiction through new releases, curated conversations, and exclusive author programming. Since its recent launch, Nu Reads has grown a vibrant national community of more than 1,600 readers—bringing writers and readers closer together in meaningful ways.

Tickets are $36, and include the Nu Reads Box featuring This Is Not About Us by Allegra Goodman, plus additional curated surprises.
