April Break: Gardening Together with CitySprouts & Hummingbird Books

Tue, April 18 | 3:00 PM - 3:45 PM

 |  Hummingbird Books

Join us and Hummingbird Books for an afternoon of gardening exploration with Cambridge’s CitySprouts to celebrate the release of their new book We Garden Together!, which features hands-on planting and growing activities to make nature education accessible, whether in a small yard, classroom, or community garden.

This activity will be led by CitySprouts’ founding director Jane Hirschi and will introduce kids to two garden “friends”: snails and worms and then planting seeds in a cup to take home. The activity is geared toward children ages 3 and up, but all are welcome! Jane will do two sessions, 1 PM and 3 PM. Link below is for the 3 PM session.

Tickets are $20 and include supplies for the gardening activity and a copy of WE GARDEN TOGETHER.
