Children’s Hammond Pond Discovery with The Newton Conservators

Did you know The Street is located alongside the largest conservation area in Newton, Hammond Pond Reservation? With dozens of walking trails including a 2-mile loop, the family and dog-friendly reservation is a favorite of locals and visitors for walking, jogging, nature and geology study, birding, rock climbing, cross-country skiing and more.

Grab your little ones on April 29, 10:00-11:30 AM, and join Barbara Bates and Sam Corbin, Newton Conservators Board members, to explore Hammond Pond Reservation! During this complimentary outdoor session, you and your kiddos will work on scientific questioning, observation skills, and learn about your surroundings.

This session is open to children 5 through 9 years old, accompanied by an adult. Registration is limited to 10 children, so secure your spot today! A wait list will be available if registration is filled. Meeting location and directions will be send to all registrants before the walk.
