Free Showing of TILL at Showcase SuperLux

Join us and Newton Community Pride in celebrating Black History Month with a free showing of the film TILL at Showcase SuperLux with a guest speaker & commentary before and after the film by Harvard Law School professor and noted lecturer, speaker, and social justice advocate Attorney Ron Sullivan, Jr.

Doors open at 6:00 PM. A cash bar is available, and free popcorn and beverage will be provided. Welcome remarks prior to the movie will start at 6:30 PM.

TILL is the powerful and thought-provoking true story of Mamie Till-Mobley’s relentless pursuit of justice for her 14-year-old son, Emmett Till, who was brutally lynched in Mississippi in 1955 while visiting his cousins. The film stars Danielle Deadwyler as Mamie Till-Bradley, with Jalyn Hall, Frankie Faison, Haley Bennett, and Whoopie Goldberg in supporting roles.
